7/9/09 Chad Elliott performed live on the mainstage of the Woody Guthrie Festival held in Okemah, OK.
6/10/09 Chad Elliott is announced as the winner of the 2009 Woody Guthrie Festival songwriting contest for his song, "Same Old Way." Elliott will perform the winning song, due to be released in the fall of 2009, on the WoodyFest mainstage in July.
